The Beyers Truter FAITH was launched on 7 October 2006 and aims to tackle the problem of alcohol abuse and related problems in th
e winelands head on. The focus of FAITH would be on health education as alcohol abuse is known to be a foremost preventable reason for mental problems and birth defects. The fund pledged support to the implementation of innovative ideas in advocacy, prevention, education and intervention.Love-Stitch is confident that Faith will make a real difference by instilling faith in a better future for all by changing the lives of children, families and communities adversely affected by Foetal Alcohol Syndrome (FASD).
