Issues of the....
Something, or should I say somebody (ies) touched Love-
Stitch’s heart very deeply. I was chatting
to my friend Annemie from Elsje Designs, and
she told me about a childrens party that they were attending. I have
been to a 1-year old party myself recently, so I knew how much fun that
can be! Balloons, birthday cake, streamers, presents…….fun, fun, fun!!
After seeing the photo’s taken at the party Annemie was talking about,
I could clearly see the sharp contrast between the 2 parties—the children
at my party had their health, parents who could take care of
them… not the children at Stikland Hospital.
These children depend so heavily on the nurses
who dedicate their time and energy to help these
children experience kindness, love, happiness and a
better quality of life.
Well done to Elsje Designs, and so many other organizations
and business who also helped to make
this an unforgettable day for these special children—
filled with laughter, fun, joy and tons of
sweeties!!

Why we South Africa!!!
We absolutely LOVE the first ever art-boutique in Cape Town!! The Grant
Daddy Hotel is situated at 38 Long Street, and also boasts with the only
roof-top trailer park in the city.
Showing just how creative Capetonians can be, the concept is the brainchild
of local design studio, WHATIFTHEWORLD. 7 silwer vintage trailers
stand proudly overlooking the city, each with its own unique theme., decorated
by local artists.
Themes include “the ballad of John&Joko, Goldilocks and the 3 bears, and The dotty world of Dorothy (pic shown below).
Truly worthwhile a visit next time you are in town!!
